Featuring: Ritsuka

This layout features Ritsuka from Loveless. This layout is one of two attempts at making a new layout for Eternal-Flight. Compared to the previous attempt of a new layout, I felt that this layout was more visually pleasing and that it was very kind on the eyes. This layout is pretty simplistic and I came up with the layout whilst travelling in France. The main image of Ritsuka is a PNG from Celestial-Star.net.
I felt that this version of Ritsuka was really nice and it works well with the colours of the layout. The brushes used on the layout are from Celestial-Star.net. A few textures were used for this layout and they all came from colorfilter.net. Underneath ‘Eternal-flight’, there are several lyrics from a song called ‘Fairyland’ by Angelzoom. I felt that these lyrics fitted this layout the best as Ritsuka looks sad or disappointed. The lyrics on the layout are ‘Colder than Ice, the world falls apart, cold like a stone, the spell of the souls.’

This layout features a Raven. The layout is fairly basic as you can see although I feel that the main image of the Raven is really important and makes the layout appealing. Compared to some of the previous attempts of a layout, this was the only layout that didn’t hurt my eyes, as the rest of the layouts were too bright. This layout is viewable in all screen resolutions.
For this layout, I didn’t use lyrics but instead some of my own quotes. The quotes are ‘I’m beginning to understand that this world is built on fairytales’ and ‘I want to believe that this is a world that is worth living in’. I felt that the first quote with the fairytales is in a sense important to me as Raven’s in stories and legends are depicted as bringers of death whereas they are in fact just scavengers. The second quote is just based around I feel with pollution and that we as a species are destroying the lives of many other species. It just brings up the question, whether this world is worth living in, if all we are doing is destroying it. Again, this is my own opinion.

Featuring: Amu, Ran, Miki and Suu from Shugo Chara!

This layout features Amu Hinamori from Shugo Chara This layout took me a lot longer to make than I expected and it features a random combination of 3 images of Amu and her Guardian Chara’s, Suu, Ran and Miki. This layout has a fairly basic header with images and the links to the various parts of the site. My favourite part of this whole layout is the black and white image of Amu on the side of the page. The lyrics are from the song, ‘Come into my dreams (pulsedrive mix)’ by Foggy.
This layout was designed using Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe Imageready CS2. PNG’s were from Aethereality and the manga image of Amu is from Mangafox and Textures were from Vert-gazon.
