Cardcaptors-forever - I was inspired to make a Cardcaptor Sakura fansite after seeing Cardcaptor Studio and Sakura Loves God. Even though I had attempted to make several sites on free servers, they never really served a purpose. On the 29th of October, Cardcaptors Forever was born. Originally hosted by Tripod, I found that it was really annoying with all the pop-ups and adverts until one day, Saffy of Sakura Loves God asked if I wanted to have CCF hosted on her domain. I accepted and I worked very hard on the website. CCF is still hosted by Saffy today and thank you Saffy for still allowing me to keep CCF on your domain. In the summer of 2007, Cardcaptors Forever became a Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa chronicles fansite. Hopefully in the near future, I wish to purchase a separate domain for CCF.
Eternal-flight - Eternal Flight was registered on September 23rd 2007 from Godaddy.com and I bought hosting from Cymraeg Wales Hosting. I've always wanted a domain ever since I set up my CCS fansite and to find such a cheap price for a domain and hosting, I asked my dad if I could buy the domain. At first I didn't think he would let me although he decided to let me purchase the domain. I found out that one of my friends in School had his very own hosting company and for a cheap price (£35 a year), you can get extremely good hosting and excellent customer service. That's how Eternal-flight was born. I am very thankful to all of my friends and family for the support they have given me and I thank my little brother for the amount of help he has given me with the evaluation of my layouts.
Name Origins
Eternal Flight - There are multiple reasons why I chose Eternal Flight. En premier, I am a bird lover and watcher. Since Birds can fly, I came to love the word flight and used this word for part of my domain name. Secondly, I chose flight because of my favourite manga/anime, Tsubasa Chronicles. Tsubasa is Japanese for wings or wing and wings are associated with flight and therefore I changed wings to flight instead. Eternal is a word that I love but also just a random word stuck in front of flight. Eternal means Endless and I'm hoping that this domain will last for a while.
Soaring Sky network - Only recently have I decided to adopt a network name. After seeing so many domains with a network name, I thought it was about time to have one of my own. I based the name of the network around flight as I felt that it was more relevant. Soaring is another word for flight but in the sense that something is flying through the air. I couldn't think of something to come after the Soaring part of the network until my brother mentioned something to do with Clouds. I came up with two names, Soaring Sky and Soaring cloud. After much thinking, I decided to choose Soaring Sky as to me it was unique and different and the Sky is so vast.
